My Strength

Often God is called my or our Strength, especially in the psalms. When we are reminded of our frail humanity, it is comforting to remember that God makes His strength available to His people in need.

There are many similar names for God in the Old Testament, especially in the psalms. God is My strength and song, the God who girds me with strength, My stronghold, My strong fortress, and My strong refuge.
