Commander of the Host

Commander of the Host is a name of God found in Daniel’s prophecy of the male goat. Sar is a somewhat generic term covering different kinds of head men. Elsewhere, the word sar is translated “prince” as in the name Prince of princes. In Joshua 5:14 it is part of the title of the captain (sar) of the host of the LORD.
