Mighty God

Mighty God is a descriptive name of God. God’s might is emphasized in many of His names. The Hebrew word gibbor is itself translated “Mighty One” in some places and occasionally it denotes a champion (1 Sam. 17:51).

NIV and Msg translate dynamis as “Mighty God” in Matt. 26:64; Mark 14:62; Luke 22:69. The NASB and KJV have the euphemism, “Power.”
