Minister in the sanctuary

One of the New Testament names of Jesus is Minister in the sanctuary. The Greek word leitourgos indicates a public servant, one who works on behalf of people. Jesus stands before God like a priest in the temple. He made the final sacrifice of Himself to atone for our sins before our heavenly Father.
