To pneuma hyiothesias

Strong’s Concordance numbers: 4151, 5206

Bible reference: Rom. 8:15

You have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15)

Although the verse does not mention women in the Greek, the point is that God adopted both sons and daughters as His children when their put their faith in Jesus Christ. Whereas Jesus (Yeshua‘) is the un-originated Son of God, believers are only God’s children by legal adoption because of the work of Jesus  on the cross. There is a present dimension to our adoption but there is a fuller measure still to come (Rom. 8:23).
